Nailed it! Bravo! There are believers who do not believe in the Rapture. They say we are escape artists. The Bible teaches that we were not made for God’s wrath. I wonder why they find it so hard to believe that God promises to meet us in the air and then during His second coming His Church returns with Him to rule which proves we must already be with Him. I believe the Bible teaches a pre trib Rapture. I have 30% chance of being right but a 100% surety because of the Cross I will with Him in heaven forever
I don't know if you've listened to Jan Markell's show, but she and her guest had an excellent segment about this about a month or so ago. They went into the history of the Rapture and how it has slowly been eliminated even by the church.
This article is excellent, accurate and so relevant! I forwarded it to several people. I also subscribed.
A few years ago my Baptist pastor scoffed when I mentioned prophecy and the rapture. He said almost exactly what is quoted in this article, that people have been saying this for thousands of years. He was dismissive and arrogant. He also would not preach on Revelation or Daniel, even though he claimed to be a verse-by-verse expository preacher.
Not long after, I stopped going to this church. I'm grateful that I found another great church, which I believe is the only remnant church in my town.
I attended a prophecy conference in Florida a few weeks ago. It was wonderful to be around like-minded believers and hear about the Rapture and many other end times events.
Yes! I am researching the history as to why churches stopped preaching the truth about the rapture. I too went to a church that did not preach any prophecy. Thankfully found a Calvary Chapel Church with the best pastor ever. The rapture is not a means to heaven but it certainly must be empty and weak trying to understand the times and wondering what it means. We are living in an era of prophecy come true. Just like the Jews and Gentiles didn’t believe Jesus was God even when all the evidence was there, they do not believe the rapture is true and the convergence of prophecy is right in front of them. Keep on believing and trusting. God is on the move and Jesus readying Himself to meet us in the air. Keep looking up!
I have also noticed, often online, a demonic hatred for the idea of the rapture. The vitriol and bitterness is mystifying. Demons, Powers, Principalities… they hate the rapture and lash out… because we as believers are to be delivered and there’s not a thing they can do to stop it.
I've noticed the same thing. Sadly, some of it is coming from people who say they are Christians. I was reading comments on YouTube the other day to a video from a pastor. There were so many negative comments dismissing the Rapture and misquoting the Bible that I had to stop reading.
Really appreciated this, especially the reminder that scoffing is itself a fulfillment of prophecy. I’ve been reflecting lately on how the world isn’t just being preconditioned for control, but possibly for deception. With the rise of AI and digital systems that can mimic truth, it’s not hard to imagine something stepping in that looks good… but isn’t. Staying awake feels more important than ever.
Yes, for all the reasons you said, Jesus will be coming on the clouds, with His angels, where all eyes will see Him to rapture His bride BEFORE the Day Of The Lord (Wrath). (His second coming is separate when Jesus comes with the saints, on a white horse with a sword for Armageddon.) So while I totally agree with most all you have said, (I used to be full on pre-trib!) I don’t believe the Bible supports the rapture prior to the TRIBULATION ….but prior to WRATH where Jesus pours out His judgment. The Bible clearly states we will have tribulation but are not appointed to wrath. They are separate things. Before throwing out the baby with the bath water (I’m showing my age here), just see what you think. The tribulation is the wrath of Satan on earth, the Day of the Lord is God’s wrath…
The Olivet Discourse tells of all the things followers of Christ are to watch for. We are to watch for all the things included in the first 6 seals of Revelation, including the abomination that causes desolation, which is at the midpoint-3.5 years into the tribulation.
2 Thess2:1-4 says:
With regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in anyway deceive you, for it will not come, unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called God or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
In Matt 24-25, Mark 13, and Luke 21 there are over 30 commands to be watchful and the Olivet Discourse tells us what those things are to watch for, as well as many other verses. Included in this list, along with the abomination that causes desolation (the Antichrist), are celestial disturbances which likely happen near or at the end of the 6th seal (6th year). Because this celestial disturbance ushers in the wrath of God/ Day of the Lord (see below), this disturbance has to be after 3.5 years, (after the abomination, logically, since Jesus said to WATCH for the apostasy and the man of lawlessness/abomination/Antichrist).
Matt 24:29 says:
Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of heaven will be shaken.
Joel 2:31 says: The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon into blood before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.
Isaiah 13:9-10 says:
Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, cruel with fury and burning anger to make the land a desolation; and he will exterminate its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven, and their constellations will not flash forth their light; the sun will be dark when it rises and the moon will not shed its light . (This is directly tied to the Day of the Lord, when the land will be made desolate. It’s not made desolate prior to the Antichrist revealing himself)
Also, End Times will be as in the days of Noah, for many reasons. One thing to note is that wrath and rapture were together. God raptured Noah and His family in the Ark and immediately poured out wrath on the sinful world. (Luke 17:27) The same applies to Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot and family saved and wrath immediately poured out. (Luke 17: 19-30) The battle at Jericho is the same pattern. There was the trumpet blast and God’s people were saved and Jericho destroyed at the same time. These are pictures of WRATH, complete destruction, at the same time of rescue. The first 3.5 years are tribulation, years 3.5.-6 are the great tribulation. Wrath comes after that.
Also, the church is mentioned numerous times after Rev 1-3. They are called saints and bond servants. The one spot you would expect “the church” to be is before the throne in heaven Rev. 4-5, IF the rapture occurred pre- trib. However, I t’s not there.
Also, the trumpet and bowl judgements are not in the Olivet Discourse. We are not to watch for those as they are poured out in The Day of the Lord. (Year 7).
I could go on and on. There is so much scripture that confirms scripture pointing to the rapture being near the end of the tribulation. I would highly recommend these books by Nelson Walters, where scripture is compared to scripture, so the evidence is biblical. He also will clearly state if something he states is his opinion.
“Rapture, Case Closed”
“Revelation Deciphered”
“Are We Ready for Jesus”
“70x 7”
He also has a YouTube channel.
Like I said, I used to be pre-trib, but not satisfied at the amount of speculation and mental gymnastics that had to be played to support it, I kept searching. The above books have so much evidence it’s mind blowing. No mental gymnastics necessary.
I hope this is as helpful to our readers as it was to me. I’d rather err on the side of being prepared to have to go through the tribulation, and not, than not be prepared and have to face it.
And one last verse for fun:
1 Thess 5: 2-4
For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, “peace and safety“ then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with a child, and they will not escape, but you brethren are not in darkness that the day would overtake you like a thief.
Believers can know when the Day of the Lord will be. We will not be deceived if we are watching. What are we to watch for? …all the things Jesus told us to watch for! 😊
Ruth a gentile bride, redeemed and brought into the family.
She was the mom of Obed who was the dad of Jesse (the father of King David). How cool is that.
Rehab and her family were spared from destruction because she trusted the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. She got to be in the family line of JUDAH too. That's amazing.
The Lord is merciful. But we must trust him. Believe him.
I wonder about the 2 fig harvest times too. I looked up the time of the figs in Israel. There's an Apri time/Spring and August time of the figs. Again read Song of Songs 2.
Have you guys seen the type of The Church in Enoch as he was taken before the Judgement of the Worldwide Flood. Noah's family lifted off the earth in the Ark as the water came. They returned when the judgement was over.
Some time later... We see Lot fleeing with help of angels out of the city immediately before the judgement of the brimstone from above.
Then there's Song of Songs chapter 2 💕🌺🕊️
I was considering the Jewish wedding yesterday. The 7 days before the other part of the marriage is even mentioned when you read about Samson. Samson didn't go into the chamber with the wife yet at the 7 days.
The 7 day feast - on the 7th day is a big deal I think maybe. I started a study in Esther yesterday.
So many types and pictures throughout the word of the Lord.
More and more I am convinced that the rapture is for those with the faith to believe it. Huge numbers of nominal Christians will go through the final seven years. If they get saved then, they will become part of the Kingdom of Israel. The Rapture is for the Bride, as far as I can tell. So, your advice is sound. Your faith in the Rapture is real. It does require rebirth and a personal relationship with Yeshua Messiah. It'scoming soon. Yeehaw!
I have often got the feeling (just a feeling) that Christians who mock the idea of the rapture will be left behind. Ultimately as a result of their own rejection of scripture.
Perhaps you might do a review, using a concordance, of the word “trumpet” each time it is used in the New Testament. If you take all of them together, it might sharpen your understanding of timing.
Hey Pierre! Thanks for taking the time to read the article. I'm sorry you didn't like it. Although I disagree with your statement, I certainly pray that we can agree that our #1 mission is to take the good news of Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world! Love you, brother.
Thanks, Leener! This is an all to common occurrence. Pastors are opting to tickle ears as opposed to speaking truth. I, too, have had these same experiences. I'm sure others here will attest to the same. God Bless!

The Rapture cannot happen soon enough of me. I pray about it regularly.
Yes! I listen every Saturday. Will have to revisit that podcast. Would like to read more about church history in general

Great article and so important for all of Christendom today, because I know you are correct that the Rapture will happen SOON! Maranatha LORD JESUS!
Amen!

Wow, what a mixture of use and abuse of the scriptures.
